Social Worker
Join our dedicated team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve. We are looking for someone who would be responsible for evaluating and assessing a child for placement and continued placement in an approved resource family home. As a social worker, you would participate in developing and monitoring the foster child’s needs and services plan.
The role requires a Master’s degree in a social science field, or to meet the following experience requirements and receive an exception: Three years of full-time social work or casework employment in the field of family or child welfare services; or two years of full-time social work or casework employment in a licensed foster family or adoption agency.
Other requirements would include conflict resolution skills with good communication skills; the ability to work well with people; keeping solid boundaries and having adequate knowledge of the foster care system and state regulations.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Evaluation and assessment of a child for placement and continued placement in an approved resource family home
Development and monitoring of the foster child’s needs and services plan
Supervision of the placement of the child including direct contact with the child and the approved resource family,
Voluntarily, as requested by a supervisor, be responsible for on-call phone and respond to emergency calls,
Provide resource family training/support groups,
Visit each client and family on their caseload on a monthly/bi-monthly basis
Assist in approval and compliance of resource family homes,
Attend Court
Maintain client notes

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Office Manager
Are you an outgoing and friendly self-starter who can multitask? We are looking for you! You could be the 'glue' that keeps our non-profit together while supporting our families and children as needed. Job duties would include, but are not limited to the following:
Maintaining HR-related tasks such as employee files, filing, forms, creating new hire packets, reviewing time cards etc
AP and AR-related tasks and help with preparation of yearly end-of-the-year duties for our CPA
Help with the preparation of all contracts and grants as needed
Answer phones and help people at the front desk as needed
Assist with creating new procedures
This position will require a high level of confidentiality, organization, and flexibility, with an eye for detail. Proficiency in EXCEL, Google Docs, and QuickBooks online is a must.
We are looking for someone who has a heart for children and families and doesn’t mind stepping in to support others as needed while maintaining a professional, yet casual work ethic.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
